Israeli occupation forces stormed the Al-Amari camp in the city of Al-Bireh near Ramallah, in the West Bank, amid confrontations and gunfire. They also distributed warning leaflets containing threats to the Palestinians.

In Nablus, a special force raided Balata camp, stormed homes and a commercial complex, and arrested Palestinians, before sending military reinforcements to the area.

The occupation forces also stormed the city of Dura, south of Hebron, destroyed a vehicle garage, and carried out an expanded raid in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, which included an attack on Palestinians.

In Qalqilya, the occupation forces turned a house into a military barracks and conducted investigations inside it, while they stormed the cinema area in central Bethlehem and raided a house.

Assaults

Also in the northern West Bank, confrontations broke out in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, and Palestinian sources said that the occupation forces fired bullets at Palestinian youths who were clashing with them.

At the same time, the occupation forces stormed the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, and raided several homes there. They also stormed the town of Ni’lin, west of the city, and the village of Deir Jarir, to the northeast of it.

Regarding settler attacks, the official Israeli radio said yesterday that some of them attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones near the town of Tuqu, south of Bethlehem, in the south of the West Bank.

The “Al-Baidar” human rights organization also said that settlers established a new settlement outpost west of the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley.

She added in a statement that the outpost is about one kilometer away from the village’s homes, on land owned by the people of Bardala, the owners of which have official documents proving their ownership of it.

These violations in the West Bank are part of an Israeli escalation that, over the past two years, has resulted in the death of at least 1,065 Palestinians, the injury of about 10,000, and the arrest of more than 20,000, including 1,600 children.
