Incredibuild, known for its expertise in accelerating software build processes, recently announced the acquisition of Kypso, an emerging AI startup. This strategic acquisition aims to expand Incredibuild’s platform into a comprehensive solution for accelerating the entire software development pipeline. Kypso, founded in 2023 by former Snyk engineers, develops context-aware AI agents that seamlessly integrate with existing developer tools such as GitHub, Jira and Slack.
Kypso’s technology makes it possible to automate and optimize workflows without having to change existing processes. By integrating Kypso’s platform, Incredibuild will expand its capabilities beyond pure build acceleration and provide full pipeline acceleration. This includes accelerating processes such as testing, code scanning and build completion in both cloud and on-premise environments.
This acquisition strengthens Incredibuild’s position as an AI-powered enabler of modern software development. By combining distributed computing and caching technologies with Kypso’s AI automation, Incredibuild can support the massive amount of code produced by generative AI. This transaction marks Incredibuild’s second acquisition in a year, following its purchase of Garden in November 2024.
