The program of National Institute of Older Adults (INAPAM) It continues to be an essential tool to support the economy of those over 60 years of age, by allowing them to access significant discounts on different public services, including the payment of property tax. Through agreements with municipal governments, the organization seeks to alleviate the fiscal burden of this sector of the population and promote timely compliance with tax obligations.
According to the latest update of the Directory of Benefits with INAPAM credentials, a total of 51 municipalities throughout the country have access to up to 50% discount on the payment of the building.
The discounts are determined locally, and although they may vary in percentage and requirements, they all aim to facilitate the payment of this basic tax and promote greater social inclusion among older taxpayers.

Although INAPAM offers a national directory with the participating municipalities, each municipal treasury defines the percentages, conditions and validity of the benefit.
