Ecatepec, Méx., November 30, 2025. A Christmas Villawith ice rink and monumental tree included, is installed by the government of Ecatepec on the occasion of the December festivities, whose services will be completely free.
Isaac Sanchez Badillodeputy director of General Services and Logistics of the Municipal Administration Directorate, reported that the mayor Azucena Cisneros Coss instructed the placement of the aforementioned Christmas Village on the esplanade and the municipal kiosk, which will be open to the public from December 1 to January 7.
He explained that the ice rink will be 40 meters long and will be completely free for users, who will also be provided with the skates required to use it and there will be specialized personnel to support them.
He added that the objective is “to bring these deep-rooted traditions to all our neighbors, such as Christmas and holiday parties. “We are going to have the Christmas Village, the monumental tree and the figures that are also available to the citizens of Ecatepec.”
He reiterated that it is about promoting traditions and family coexistence in Ecatepec, in addition to the fact that people will be able to take photographs with the monumental tree and the more than 20 Christmas figures.
Sánchez Badillo invited the population of Ecatepec to come to the municipal esplanade on December 1 at 6:00 p.m. to participate in the lighting of the monumental tree and the inauguration of the ice rink.
