The background to this crisis is the resignation of four MPs from the party, who announced their resignation on November 11th. Jouleen Gruhn, Melanie Matzies, André von Ossowski and Reinhard Simon cited “authoritarian tendencies” and radicalized positions within the BSW as reasons for their departure.
