The Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection (SGIRPC) reported the activation of the Yellow Alert due to low temperature forecast for the early morning and morning hours of Monday, November 17, 2025, in the areas of Milpa Alta, Tlalpan and Xochimilco.
According to the official report, minimum temperatures are expected that will range between 4 and 6 degrees Celsius, mainly among the 00:00 and 08:00 hours. For this reason, the agency called on the population to take precautions and protect themselves against thermal decline.

Civil Protection makes recommendations for the activation of the Yellow Alert
The authorities recommend wearing at least three layers of clothing, preferably cotton or woolas well as Apply cream to hydrate the skin and protect it from the cold. It is also advised avoid sudden changes in temperature, stay well hydrated, and consume fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins A and C, that strengthen the immune system.

If heaters or fireplaces are used, adequate ventilation must be provided in the spaces to prevent poisonings.
