The CNTE teachers encountered a strong security device in the streets of the Historic Center to prevent their entry into the National Palace.


At the intersection of the street Tacuba y Monte of Pietyteachers who are members of the National Coordinator of Education Workers (CNT) to the esplanade of the capital’s zócalo as part of the actions announced and the strike called for 48 hours.

Meanwhile, elements of the Public Security Secretariat of Mexico City deployed a strong security device around the National Palace to prevent the presence of the members of the CNTE from preventing the morning conference of the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, as happened on May 21.

In addition to the metal fences more than two meters high, there are closures on different roads in the first square of the Historic Center that prevent the passage of vehicles.

The teachers began to gather around 5:00 a.m. in different parts of the Center to begin their mobilizations and strike that they have scheduled for 48 hours.

At 9:00 a.m. they have scheduled a march of the Plinth of the Ciudad of Mexico to the Chamber of Deputies where they intend to hold a sit-in and remain in tents until this Friday.
