Focused on contributing from its trenches and with sports practice involved, the World Boxing Council (CMB) confirmed its immediate participation in the Federal Government’s recently launched program, called Michoacán Plan for Peace and Justice.
The president of the organization, Mauricio Sulaiman He pointed out that this commitment arises from a natural interest that the WBC has to help in the social pacification of the country and for which the council immediately raised its hand to support the program recently presented by the federal authority.

“We are going through difficult times in the country and in the world. All we see is aggressive news, tragedies, but we do not want our children to grow up like this. We want them to grow with sport, with opportunities. That is why we join our president, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, so that boxing does its bit in this great interest“said the WBC boss.
Although since World Boxing Council It was denied that this measure is hasty, given the short time frame that exists after indicating that this same weekend they will begin with an official visit of the WBC to Michoacán to schedule talks and courses, the truth is that the adhesion to the Michoacan Plan It does not yet have a defined structure by the boxing organization, only pointing out the ideas that they are contemplating doing in the entity.
“We go no matter how long it lasts. We start this weekend now and with great interest. We are joining at this moment and it will be for now only in Michoacán, we are going towards the State, although we know that this is a national issue without a doubt,” said the manager.
Tournament, visit of former champions, boxing clinics, among others
Among the activities contemplated by the CMB establish in the region, is a regional amateur tournament, visits from former Mexican champions, boxing clinics and discussions on the subjectso that the entire society participates. “They will be like direct ambassadors Carlos Molina and Javier Prietowho are from Michoacán and we are going to lead a series of constant activities.”
