Jaciel “N”alias “El Pelón”was linked to proceedings for the crimes of extortion and bribery, following the investigation by the Michoacán Prosecutor’s Office.
The events are related to alleged extortion committed to the detriment of the relatives of two people involved in the murder of the mayor. Carlos Manzo Rodríguezas well as for bribery to the detriment of the company.
The judge in charge of the case determined that there were sufficient elements to order the connection to proceedings for the indicated crimes. Likewise, he ordered the continuation of the informal preventive detention for Jaciel “N” and set a period of four months for the Prosecutor’s Office to carry out the complementary investigation.
With this resolution, the case will continue to be monitored by the judicial system, while the investigations into the alleged acts of corruption and extortion linked to the accused deepen.
