- Rejection in procedures: You may need to update your biometric identity to complete paperwork.
- No immediate fines: In the initial phase, personal sanctions are not contemplated, although institutions that refuse to accept the biometric CURP could receive sanctions later.
But the transition will be gradual, and those who do not update could face unexpected barriers in their daily procedures. In short: not processing the biometric CURP today does not generate immediate sanctions, but it could complicate your efforts when it becomes mandatory.
