According to local reports, Al-Laithi, known for his singing performances in a number of Mohamed Ramadan’s dramatic works such as “The Legend” and “Eagle of Upper Egypt,” suffered severe injuries, including fractures in a number of ribs and damage to the right lung, in addition to internal bleeding and a suspected fracture of the skull bones on the right side, as well as severe bruising in the head and chest areas.

The medical report stated that the doctors had to insert a chest tube to extract the air and blood collected inside the chest cavity, in addition to carrying out urgent resuscitation attempts, and supplying him with medications, fluids, and antibiotics in order to stabilize his condition and control complications.
According to press reports, the degree of consciousness of Ismail Al-Laithi is very low and does not exceed 5%, as he faces severe difficulty breathing as a result of the severe injuries to his chest, while his health condition remains critical, which necessitated his remaining in the intensive care room under careful and continuous medical observation.
Medical teams are still monitoring his condition moment by moment, amid great concern among his family and fans, who are awaiting any reassuring signs about his condition improving in the coming hours.
Al-Laithi had been involved in a horrific traffic accident while returning from a concert in the city of Assiut in Upper Egypt, where his car collided with another on the road, and this led to him being seriously injured. He was immediately transferred to Mallawi Specialized Hospital in a state of complete coma, suffering from severe bleeding from the nose and mouth, according to local press reports, to be placed under observation in the intensive care room.
It is noteworthy that Ismail Al-Laithi went through a severe shock last year, following the death of his son Reda, known to his fans as “Dhada”, after he fell from the balcony of his house on the tenth floor in a tragic accident while playing. Investigations at the time revealed that the incident did not include any criminal suspicion, and that this incident constituted a painful chapter in the artist’s life, the ghost of which is now returning with the health crisis he is going through, amid calls from his fans to overcome it and return to the artistic scene as soon as possible.
