Today, Monday, the occupation forces launched an arrest campaign in cities in the West Bank, while Israeli bulldozers demolished a commercial facility north of occupied Jerusalem, after a Palestinian was injured yesterday, Sunday, by occupation bullets near the apartheid wall.

Local sources said that the occupation forces arrested two Palestinians during their storming of the village of Kober, north of Ramallah.

Palestinian medical sources had previously said that a young man died from wounds he sustained during the occupation forces’ storming of the town of Jarir, east of Ramallah Governorate.

The young man was injured by bullets from the occupation forces during an attempt by a number of young men to confront a settler attack on the outskirts of the town of Jarir, before the occupation soldiers arrived and opened fire randomly on the residents, according to an Al Jazeera correspondent, quoting witnesses.

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent said that a Palestinian child was injured by a stun grenade in the head during the occupation forces’ suppression of a Palestinian protest at the Nour Shams camp in the northern West Bank.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces suppressed the protesters who came out against their displacement from the camp, using gas and sound bombs.

In another development, Al Jazeera’s correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces continue to bulldoze large areas of Palestinian land near the “Karmi Tzur” settlement in Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

According to the occupation’s decision, the bulldozing operation extends over about 80 dunums of Palestinian land in the West Bank.

Israeli forces arrested a young man during their storming of Beit Sahour in the city of Bethlehem, south of the West Bank, and another during their storming of Tulkarm.

Local sources also reported that a special unit affiliated with the occupation arrested a young Palestinian man after infiltrating his home in Wadi Al-Fara’a, south of Tubas, while the occupation forces arrested two other young men in the city.

Occupation bulldozers demolished a commercial facility between the villages of Rafat and Qalandia, north of occupied Jerusalem.

A Palestinian was injured

Yesterday evening, Sunday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a brief statement that its crews transported to the hospital an injury sustained by live bullets in the knee from an area adjacent to the separation wall in the town of Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa), the occupation forces chased a number of workers near the wall and opened fire on them, wounding one of them.

She said that the Israeli army has killed 15 Palestinian workers since the beginning of this year by shooting, during pursuit inside Israel, or by falling from the wall.

On an almost daily basis, Palestinian injuries are repeated near the separation wall surrounding Jerusalem and along the border between the West Bank and Israel, as Palestinian workers attempt to cross it in search of work within Israel, which occupies their lands.

These developments come within the framework of the escalating Israeli attacks in the occupied West Bank for more than two years, coinciding with the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip that began on October 8, 2023.

These attacks resulted in the death of more than 1,080 Palestinians and the injury of about 11,000 others, in addition to the arrest of more than 20,500 people, according to official Palestinian sources.
