Learn three easy recipes to prepare in the air fryer.


The air fryer is a tool that allows us to enjoy the crispy texture of the sweet potatothe sweet potato or sweet potato without excess fat and provides fewer calories than French fries.

Air Fryer Crispy Sweet Potato Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large potato (approximately).
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (spices can be added to taste)
  • Sal to taste.
  • 1 splash of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO).
  • Enough cold water

Preparation mode

  1. The first step is to wash and sanitize the sweet potatoes. Then pEle the sweet potatoes and cut into uniform batons similar to the size of French fries.
  2. Add the sweet potatoes to a bowl of cold water and dLet them rest for 15 to 20 minutes. This step is key, as it helps release some of the surface starch, which makes them crispier.
  3. Drain the sweet potato sticks very well, dry with a kitchen towel or absorbent paper.
  4. Place the sweet potato sticks in a large bowl and drizzle with a drizzle of olive oil, sprinkle with salt and a teaspoon of marinade.
  5. Mix with hands until all the canes are evenly coated. Preheat the air fryer to 205 C for 5 minutes. Preheating ensures uniform cooking and a crispy result from the start. Add the sweet potatoes to the bucket.
  6. At the end, shake the bucket to mix the sweet potatoes. Raise the temperature to 180 C and program 15 more minutes.
  7. When a few have passed 7 to 8 minutes, stir again to ensure even browning.
  8. At the end of cooking, check the texture. If you want more crunch, program 2 or 3 additional minutes a 200 C.
  9. Serve immediately with contrast sauces. We suggest barbecue sauce and a refreshing natural yogurt sauce.
