Several lots totaling approximately 91,585 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) breakfast burritos and wraps containing egg with risk of Listeria contaminationthe California company MCI Foods is recalled from the market, according to the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
The burritos and wraps were manufactured between September 17 and October 14, 2025 and were distributed throughout the country under the Los Cabos, El Más Fino and Midamar brands. to food service establishments across the country, including the USDA National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs.
The issue was discovered by the company following routine testing of RTE ingredients from third-party suppliers.
