Review of 2024: Networking, events, consultations and further training – a successful year for the KI NRW Future Center
In 2024, the focus of the future centers was on the topic of Artificial intelligence. We have dealt with it, how AI is changing the world of workand what these Transformation means to us.
For us as the future center KI NRW, 2024 was a year of intensive exchange, different practical advice and the Implementation of existing and new training and event offeringsin order to support as many companies as possible with their specialists, managers and interest groups in North Rhine-Westphalia on their way to the future of AI. We were able to reach two thirds of SMEs across all offers.
Networking: creating synergies and sharing knowledge
We were able to promote numerous collaborations with other projects and actors on both the employer and employee sides in North Rhine-Westphalia last year. Particularly noteworthy here are: Economic developments, Medium-sized digital centers, Chambers, Employers’ associations and Employment agencies. This collaboration with over 50 partners in 2024 has helped to promote knowledge transfer and reach more companies with our offerings. With the KI Guide series in particular, we have developed an innovative training format that is implemented and supported in close cooperation with regional partners.
Events and workshops: AI for everyone
Throughout 2024 we have a number of Events and workshops planned and carried out to attract as many companies as possible Opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence to inform and raise awareness. In almost 50 events – both our own and when participating in partner events – our goal was to… Understanding for AI and the acceptance for the technology to increase.
Strengthening AI competence through further training
Another important goal of the KI NRW Future Center is: To strengthen AI competence in companies. We were able to do this through further training courses that are specifically tailored to the needs of skilled workers Increase expertise around AI. We were able to reach almost 200 people from over 50 companies with our continuing education offerings on various AI topics such as machine learning, data analysis and AI ethical issues in 2024. Our AI Guide series in 5 regions of North Rhine-Westphalia in particular inspired numerous participants who learned how they can integrate AI technologies into their everyday working life.
Consulting: Successfully integrate AI into companies
With ours individual consultations We helped companies identify concrete AI use cases that fit their specific needs. We focused on practical solutions that not only improved efficiency but also gave companies a competitive advantage. A total of 200 management consultancies will be among our successes in 2024.
Outlook for 2025 – Together into the future
Next year we want to go one step further: all future centers will include the aspect of sustainability even more intensively than before, because in addition to all technological progress, our responsibility for us as humans and our environment is just as important.
