In follow-up to Michoacán Plan for Peace and Justiceinstructed by President Claudia Sheinbaum, the heads of the Secretariat of National Defense, the Secretariat of the Navy, the National Guard and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, together with Lázaro Cárdenas Batel, They held a meeting in Morelia with Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, municipal authorities, legislators and representatives of the business sector.
During the meeting, the strategic axes of the plan were reviewed: intelligence, attention to the causes, inter-institutional coordination, regionalization and shielding of borders, with the aim of preventing crimes, combating extortion and protecting families, as well as economic activity in the state.

The federal authorities thanked the municipal presidents for their trust and willingness to work in a coordinated manner with the state and the federation.

He Government of Mexico reiterated that the security of Michoacán is a priority and announced that the visits will continue constantly to monitor progress and strengthen the construction of peace in the entity.
