MEXICO CITY.- The president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo recognized Miss Universe Mexico, Fatima Boschby raise your voice in the contest Miss Universe beauty contest in Thailand, where reported assault of the organizers.
In her morning conference this Wednesday, November 5 at the National Palace, Claudia Sheinbaum highlighted the importance of making certain attitudes visible.
“My recognition, because she experiences this aggression and very dignifiedly says: ‘I do not agree.’ And it seems to me that it is an example of how women should raise our voices,” said the head of the federal Executive.

She said that they came to tell her “shut up you look prettier“: “What do you mean by being quiet, you look prettier? So not that, and in public events I say: ‘women look prettier when we raise our voices and participate’, because that has to do with the recognition of our rights.”

Miss Universe 2025 was involved in a new controversy after the dissemination of a video that shows the Thai businessman Nawat Itsaragrisil attacks the Mexican Fátima Bosch, representative of Miss Universe Mexico.
In the clip, the Thai man is heard questioning Miss Mexico, raising his voice at her and later kicking her out of the event. The man also called security and after that the Mexican left the room with other delegates who supported her.
